On 17 October 2025, Valenhold marked a major milestone – 10 years of powering mining reliability. What began in 2015 as a bold idea shared between two friends, Garth Chester and Wayne Trench, has evolved into a trusted global name in mining drivetrain solutions. 

From humble beginnings in Brisbane, Valenhold has grown into a well-established global business with operations spanning 14 countries, supporting haul-truck fleets with high-value components, rebuilds and engineering solutions. 

“We started with a laptop, a plan, and a passion to do things differently,” says Co-Founder and Managing Director Wayne Trench. “Ten years later, that same mindset drives everything we do – challenging the norm, focusing on quality, and building partnerships that last.”
