Valenhold Expands VALC Service Network into North America Through Strategic Partnership with IPS

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – May 2026 – Valenhold, the global developer of the VALC range of advanced haul truck drive train products and rebuild technologies, has announced a strategic partnership with Integrated Power Services (IPS), significantly expanding the VALC Service Network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The partnership brings together Valenhold’s advanced drive train technologies, proprietary rebuild methodologies, and RAM (Repair and Maintenance) system with IPS’s extensive service infrastructure and field execution capabilities across North America.

As part of the collaboration, IPS will establish dedicated VALC drive train rebuild capability within select facilities, commencing with Denver as a centre of excellence, with broader expansion planned in line with customer demand.

The agreement strengthens Valenhold’s global service and support footprint for mining haul truck drive train solutions, including wheel motors and final drives, alternators, front corners, and blower motors designed to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and optimise lifecycle performance in demanding mining environments.

Valenhold Managing Director Garth Chester said the partnership represented an important milestone in the continued global expansion of the VALC Service Network.

“IPS is one of the leading electromechanical service providers in North America, with a strong reputation for execution, technical capability, and customer support,” Chester said.

“This partnership expands the reach of the VALC Service Network and provides mining customers with greater access to advanced drive train solutions, localised rebuild capability, and globally developed engineering and rebuild technologies.

“Our focus has always been on delivering practical, high-quality solutions that improve reliability, reduce total cost of ownership, and support mining operations where uptime is critical.”

Valenhold Chairman Wayne Trench said the partnership reflected increasing international demand for flexible, high-performance alternatives within the global mining services sector.

“Mining operations globally are looking for partners who can combine engineering capability, reliability, responsive support, and commercial flexibility,” Trench said.

“The expansion of the VALC Service Network into North America alongside IPS is a significant step in strengthening our ability to support customers in key mining jurisdictions with local capability backed by global engineering, product development, and rebuild expertise.”

Under the partnership, customers will gain access to:

  • Localised rebuild and maintenance capability across North America
  • Expanded access to VALC drive train products and technologies
  • Reduced lead times and improved service responsiveness
  • Structured repair and maintenance systems through the VALC RAM platform
  • Enhanced lifecycle performance and reliability support for critical mining assets

The partnership forms part of Valenhold’s broader global growth strategy, focused on expanding the VALC Service Network across key mining regions including North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
